Customer: The Affordable Care Act, which is also referred to as ACA or Obamacare, was signed into law by President Barack Obama in 2010. The act was a major overhaul of the U.S. healthcare system, reducing the amount of uncompensated care the average family pays for. Obamacare originally required everyone to have health insurance and offered cost assistance to those who could not afford a plan on their own.

Results: Developed EngagePoint Architect Suite as a part of the ObamaCare program that was successfully launched in Arkansas (AR), Maryland (MN), Missouri (MO), and North Dakota (ND). EngagePoint Architect Suite is a set of proven, reusable integration components that facilitate achieving the full benefits of a large-scale enterprise SOA solution. With its highly flexible, standards-based framework, it is easily deployed within an SOA framework to deliver unified application integration and interoperability. In every case, it accelerates the process of connecting large-scale enterprise solutions that involve multiple systems – COTS, legacy, or proprietary.
