Vision Technologies, a national and global systems integrator, provides IT services and solutions for commercial and federal clients. Their seasoned staff has keen insight into trends and emerging technologies that are changing the way people work, communicate, and protect our society. Vision Technologies offers design, installation, support, and project management for distributed antenna systems, passive optical networking, voice/data, wireless systems, security, audio-visual, and video teleconferencing. The company delivers powerful IP-centric, integrated solutions that get results.

Project overview:

The request to fully rebuild their existing outdated Content Management System to a more flexible, scalable platform. As the previous website was difficult to manage, and limited in functionality. Danavero has to enhance content management for client administrators and integrate the new site with advanced technologies that support Vision’s services. A primary focus is on providing Vision Technologies with a more future-proof solution with improved user experience (UX).

Challenge:

Rather than revamping the existing site, the customer decided to rebuild it entirely.
The previous site’s design was making it difficult for both visitors and internal teams to navigate. With new technologies emerging, the new platform had to be scalable to evolving business needs.

Results:

Danavero redesigned and developed Vision Technologies’ website. The main goal was to utilize new technologies to expand new services while also improving the overall UX and content publishing for client admins. After completing the initial discovery phase, Danavero proposed moving the site from the old CMS to a Drupal platform. Together with the customer team, Danavero finalized the wireframes and developed a new website design. Danavero moved all of the customer’s content and made sure that the services in the cloud-connected with the Drupal APIs. The website migration stage was quick and stress-free.
